Your uncle, Thomas and you took possession of your luggage, and the three of you walked out into the bright sunshine. Whenever you saw sun in Brisbane you smiled to yourself. Although it definitely rained in the country of Australia, summers tended to be sunny and comfortably warm. Last summer, you found your father's high school diary at the bottom of an attic trunk. In it he wrote about his search for a treasure ship that sank off the Gold Coast. Your mission on this holiday was to retrace his journey.
