We are learning that Africa is a diverse continent consisting of many countries. There are many landscapes, cultures, languages and people in this place.

I can explain the difference between a continent and a country
I can name at least 5 African countries

I can identify some vegetation zones (biomes) within Africa
I can name some animals that live in Africa and explain which biomes they live in
I can recall some interesting facts about Africa that show the diversity of the continent
