A "crowd-sourced" project is one where the ideas come from many different sources. Google maps and Wikipedia are examples of webpages that use crowd-sourcing to gather data.
In this project, people from all over the world are invited to be part of a book sharing project in a virtual world.
Watch the instructions in the video to find out more about this project.
Hint: Since you can't edit your book in Minecraft once you have signed it, it would be best to plan and write your story in another program (such as Word or Google Docs) and then write it in Minecraft once you are happy with your spelling, punctuation and ideas.
If you submit a book to the crowd-sourced library, be sure to let us know by leaving a comment on this page so that others can visit the library to read your book!
Happy writing!
